| For
the fourth time in five years, the Iota Lambda booth was
judged #1 among community organizations. Photos above
and immediately below show the layoutof the booth. The
display included the Summer Celebration theme, video and
photo displays, and Chapter program information; the booth
also featured a massive backdrop of a golden sphinx head,
palm trees, miniature lights and fresh flowers, against
a white "stone" pyramid. |

Iota
Lambda presented another award-winning booth at the
2001 "Summer Celebration", showcasing the
Fraternity's and the Chapter's educational, service
and fellowship programs.

embracing our future!"

The
Alpha Phi Alpha Banner, carried by three of our Alpha
Esquires, led the unit.
Br. Aaron Woodall
(not pictured) chaired the committee and chaperoned
the unit along the route.

William Crutchfield, Iota Lambda President, is chauffered
along the parade route by Br. Edsel Thruston, accompanied

Chapter, IUPUI, coordinated by Br. Damon Branson.

full scale replica of a U.S. Air Force Freedom Fighter
Tiger II, handbuilt and exhibited by Steve Smith of
Greenfield, Indiana, "piloted" by one of
our Alpha Esquires, and coordinated by Br. James Taylor,
showed Alphas "embracing the future".

Alpha
"celebrates our youth" as our Alpha Esquires
(in black) participated in force, marching and stepping
behind the fighter aircraft replica and displaying
themed banners.

Circle
City Classic Parade 2001

The
2001 Circle City Classic® Parade featured a themed
float from Iota Lambda Chapter and Central Indiana Brothers,
including a daytime display of electric lights and fresh
seasonal flowers.
