Keep In Touch with Iota Lambda Brothers

         We want to inform Iota Lambda Brothers of a new and exciting, private online network. "The Iota Lambda Network" should address many Brothers' concerns about an online community for Chapter Brothers to network and share news, announcements, special events, photos, video, links, etc. That network is now available for your use and convenience. It's like nothing you've ever experienced, free, secure, and ready for your input.         We are indebted to Br. Isham Jay Bennett for creating this exciting virtual "House of Alpha" for us. He currently serves as the administrator or Webmaster for the Iota Lambda Network. For reasons of security, a special "invitation" to join the group is required and new registrations are monitored to ensure only members may join. Please refer interested Brothers who may not have received the initial invitation to Br. Bennett directly for that information.

Using this network is easy and it's full of features that may not be obvious to you when you join. Here are a few tips on how to get the most from this space:
1. Your default picture is the Fraternity crest. You can change the picture and upload something that you prefer by clicking on the My Settings link in the upper right corner of the screen just below the "Hello," greeting. Use the My Settings feature to change your privacy controls and to customize your page.
2. Each Brother has his own page that can be tweaked to his own preferences to include changing the layout, theme, fonts, colors, etc. Make your page your own. You can upload pictures that can be shared with everyone or just those who you connect with as "Friends." You can also start your own blog on your page or add links or widgets to websites or web tools and applications that are your favorites.
3. Once you have added a Brother as a "Friend", you can send messages back and forth between anyone who is a Friend. You are free to leave messages on the Wall of any individual Brothers page but these Wall messages are visible to anyone on the site.
4. Please do not share the link you received to join this site with others who are not Brothers. The site is not public and requires the email link to join it. If there are Brothers who want to join the site who are members of our chapter who did not receive the joining link, they can contact me at apaiotalambda@gmail.com and I will send them a link. You can also send them a link but I would also like to add their email address to the chapter distribution list, so let me know if you've send someone the link by sending me a note with their address.
5. Add events, participate in the forums, create groups, and use all the features to the fullest. Enjoy!
