EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING--On Call
We will have an Executive Board meeting this Friday from
6pm to 8pm at Nourish Cafe located at the Indianapolis Museum
of Art. We will be discussing several topics in preparation
for our chapter meeting on January 14, 2011. All officers
and committee chairs should plan to attend.
CHAPTER MEETING--JANUARY 14, 2011
Our next chapter meeting will take place at the Julia Carson
Government Center beginning at 7pm. Dress is Alpha attire.

MLK CHAPTER ACTIVITIES
- Indiana Statehouse Rotunda King Holiday Celebration--January
13, 2011 @ 12 pm
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has been invited to participate
in the Indiana Civil Rights Commission King Celebration
Program on January 13, 2011 beginning at 11:30 at the Statehouse
Rotunda. We will present a wreath in memorial tribute to
Brother Dr. King as part of the program. Twelve seats have
been reserved near the stage for our participation. Please
let me know if you plan to attend.
- 42nd Annual IUPUI Martin Luther King,
Jr. Dinner--January 16, 2011

if you want to attend the MLK IUPUI dinner or have an interest
in sponsoring a College Brother. The IUPUI Black Student
Union will host the 42nd Annual IUPUI Martin Luther King,
Jr. Celebration Dinner on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at the
Hyatt Regency Ballroom, One South Capitol Avenue, in downtown
Indianapolis. Dr. Michael Eric Dyson will be the keynote
speaker and the chapter will honor him with a special plaque
in memory or our Brother Dr. King.
2011 GENERAL CONVENTION--CHICAGO
Early bird registration for the 2011 General Convention
has been extended to January 7th. Log on via Alpha Net (alphiphialpha.net)
to register early and receive $50 off the registration fee.
Lastly, On January 5, the men of Kappa Alpha
Psi kicked off their 100 year celebration with a banquet
at the Conrad. Br. President Bennett represented us and
welcomed them to the Centennial Club along with an admonition
from our General President to continue to live up the the
legacy of their founders. Other presidents from the Divine
Nine also provided words of greeting and congratulations.
